I wanted to create the ultimate trophy for a Mario Kart competition with my friends. I took inspiration from a bunch of different Mario Kart trophies and got to work designing my own version. After some trial and error (and a lot of 3D printing), I ended up with a 30 cm high golden trophy.
The Journey: I started by checking out various Mario Kart trophies and picked out the best elements for my design. Using 3D modeling software, I created a unique trophy that could be 3D printed. After a few prototypes and adjustments, I finally had the perfect design.
3D Printing Adventure: Printing the trophy was quite an adventure. I went through several prototypes to make sure everything was just right. Each version taught me something new, and after a few tries, I ended up with a full-scale trophy standing tall at 30 cm. The golden finish gave it that extra touch of glory.
Finishing Touches: To make the trophy even more special, I added some colorful gems to give it a dazzling look. Not only that, but I also added weights to the base to give it a satisfying heft. Now, it’s not just a looker—it feels substantial too.
The Final Result: The final trophy is a golden marvel, full of intricate details and ready to be the centerpiece of any Mario Kart showdown. It’s a fun reminder of the friendly competition and a great way to celebrate the victor.
